Drawing on current evidence, clinical experience, and real-life case studies, you'll learn how to confidently assess communication, language, play, social interaction, literacy, executive functioning, and functional communication while considering sensory processing, regulation, masking, and different communication styles.

You'll discover how to adapt assessments to reduce anxiety, increase engagement, and obtain a more accurate picture of a child's abilities. We'll also explore how to combine formal assessment tools with dynamic assessment, observations, caregiver interviews, and naturalistic assessment to create reports that truly guide intervention.
