After four sessions of close clinical work, the final session in this series steps back and looks at the system your practice sits inside. You'll learn what culturally responsive practice actually looks like when working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants and families — moving beyond deficit frameworks toward genuine consultation and cultural safety. We'll examine why criminal justice responses so often shut down early help-seeking, explore Victoria's Therapeutic Treatment Order model, and unpack what international prevention programs like Stop It Now! and Project Dunkelfeld can teach us about what's possible — and why mandatory reporting law shapes which of those models can operate here. Threaded throughout are the real ethical tensions of this work: confidentiality versus reporting obligations, hope versus realism, and the BSP's role in a system that's still being built. This is the capstone — where the clinical skills from Parts 1–4 meet the bigger picture, and where you leave with a clear sense of your place in it.
